Who Should Attend?
State VOCA victim assistance managers and staff who need up-to-date information to improve the effectiveness and results of your programs. The conference will focus primarily on the knowledge, experience and strategies helpful to improve program performance and grant management in order to better serve victims of crime.

This conference is NOT open to VOCA subgrantees, other direct service providers, trainers, educators or others not directly responsible for or employed by the state agency designated to administer VOCA victim assistance formula grants or state crime victim compensation programs..

Conference Registration Information
This year's conference is being held with the support of the Office for Victims of Crime. There is no registration fee for eligible participants to attend the conference.

The conference will formally begin Tuesday morning, August 20, 2013 and end at approximately 12 noon, Thursday, August 22, 2013. Participants should plan to arrive on Monday, August 19 and leave Thursday afternoon, August 22; a few rooms are available for Thursday night for those unable to depart Thursday afternoon.  A pre-conference session is planned for 3:00 pm on Monday August 19.

Hotel
The Conference is being held at the St. Louis Union Station (a DoubleTree Hotel) at the rate of $99.00/night (plus 15.741% local tax). The cut-off date for reservations at the conference rate is Friday, July 19, 2013, however, reservations at the conference rate cannot be guaranteed once the reservation block is full, even if before the cut-off date. The hotel will honor the conference rate for days prior to and after the conference if the reservation is made before the cut-off date.
