VOCA Victim Assistance and crime victim compensation managers, staff
and Board members who would like up-to-date information to improve
the effectiveness and results of their programs.
The conference
will focus primarily on the knowledge, experience and strategies
helpful to improve program performance and grant management in order to better serve victims
of crime.
This
conference is NOT open to VOCA subgrantees, other direct
service providers, trainers, educators or others not directly
responsible for or employed by the state agency designated to administer VOCA victim assistance
formula grants or state crime victim compensation programs..

Conference
Registration Information
This year's conference is being held with the support of the Office for Victims
of Crime. There is no registration
fee for eligible participants to attend the
conference.
The
conference will formally begin Tuesday morning, October 2, 2012 and end at approximately 12 noon, Thursday, October 4, 2012. Participants should plan to arrive
on Monday, October 1, 2012 and leave Thursday afternoon, October 4, 2012; a few rooms are available for Thursday night for those unable to depart Thursday afternoon. A pre-conference session is planned for 3:00 pm on Monday October 1.
Hotel
The Conference will be held at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel at the government rate of $133.00/night
for single/double/triple/quad occupancy (plus 16% local tax). Please note that the government rate in effect at the time of the conference (not when the reservation is made) will apply and may increase or decrease depending on any changes in the applicable GSA lodging rate for FY 2013.

The cutoff date for hotel room reservations is Wednesday, September 25, 2012.
*A deposit equal to one night room and tax will be charged at the time a room reservation is made and which will be applied towards the room bill upon check-in. Deposits are refundable if notice is received by the hotel at least 3 days prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.
