Who Should Attend?
State VOCA Victim Assistance managers and staff who would like up-to-date information to improve the effectiveness and results of their programs. The conference will focus primarily on the knowledge, experience and strategies helpful to improve program performance and grant management in order to better serve victims of crime.

This conference is NOT open to VOCA subgrantees, other direct service providers, trainers, educators or others not directly responsible for or employed by the state agency designated to administer VOCA victim assistance formula grants.

Conference Registration Information
This year's conference is being held with the support of the Office for Victims of Crime and OVC Training and Technical Assistance Center (OVC TTAC). There is no registration fee for eligible participants to attend the conference.

The conference will formally begin at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2010 and end at approximately 12:15 pm, Thursday, September 16, 2010. Participants should plan to arrive on Monday, September 13, 2010; a pre-conference VOCA 101 orientation workshop primarily for new administrators/staff will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday afternoon.

The cutoff date for hotel room reservations is Friday, August 27, 2010.  However, you are strongly encouraged to make your hotel room reservations as early as possible. Rooms at the conference rate cannot be guaranteed once our room reservation block is filled, even if prior to the cutoff date.

*The hotel will honor the government room rate for three days prior to and after the conference depending on room availability.
